There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. There are so many stretches to paddle     in this river system, the Goodman Grade to Highway 101 stretch is just one of many. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The nature scenery of Wisconsin and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile.
