The natural beauty of Lincoln County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers.     Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Merrill, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Prairie River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Haymeadow Creek to Prairie Road stretch is the only one. There's camping available near Prairie River.
