Not     too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This section of Rat River in Wisconsin is 3.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III(IV) section. There are no other stretches to paddle along Rat River than the Partridge Lane to Harper Road stretch. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Rat River ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights   at Rat River are in the-10's. Rat River is a good spot of common rainfall; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
