Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. This is the only paddling stretch along Root River. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. This section is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to   put-in a few times. The campgrounds here at Root River are pretty good.
