Horlick Dam to Quarry Park section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II-III 0.4 miles
Very fun stretch of river, if there is water.á The root is best paddled the day after a rainfall.á Check the reports, it is not worth your time if the water is below 250cfs.á That is the absolute minimum.á There are 2 fun waves to surf, 3 in very high water.á Bring playboats, this stretch of whitewater is only about 500 yards.á Both waves have pretty good washout, there is a small hole on the lower wave, but not bad.
