The beautiful scenery of Wisconsin and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The Moore Park to Vogues Road section of Tyler     Forks in Wisconsin is 7.6 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III+(IV) section by American Whitewater. The beautiful Gogebic Range scenery is an added bonus. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The campgrounds here at Tyler Forks are pretty good. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. Briefly about the general area: From a rain point of view Tyler Forks is a reasonably typical spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Very beautiful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Whitecap Mountain. During   the summertime at Tyler Forks temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's.
