There's camping available near Upper Tamarack River. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Radigan dam to Markville section of Upper Tamarack River in Douglas County is 13.3 miles long and is a class I-II(III) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Upper Tamarack River doesn't have
a lot of paddling stretches, the Radigan dam to Markville stretch is the only one. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. The wonderful Wisconsin scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile.
