The Maple Ridge Road to Flowage section of White River is 13.6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Wisconsin is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots     of good spots for that around here. The Maple Ridge Road to Flowage stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your camp stove.
