If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This is an extremely short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Getting your paddling     muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The wonderful Ashland County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are some good hotels near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
