The wonderful Oneida County scenery and the cool fresh water have people coming here. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good places for that around here. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time     outdoors have people coming from far and near. There are many good hotels to choose from, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is an extremely short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over.
