If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This is a short paddling     stretch so no need to bring snacks. The wonderful Langlade County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Wolf River will make you feel great. This stretch of Wolf River in Wisconsin is 3.2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. Briefly about the general area: Wolf River gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Wolf River get into the 70's; the night is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Wolf River.
