There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Highway 52 to Wolf Road stretch is just one of many. The natural beauty of Wisconsin and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. Getting your paddling     muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This is a short paddling stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: Wolf River is a good place of normal precipitation; during September this area sees the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. High temperatures at Wolf River during the summer months are in the 70's, and the night is rather chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Wolf River are in the-10's.
