The beautiful scenery of Langlade County and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Wisconsin is often easier than elsewhere, so if     you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come.
