any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
Briefly about the general area: There's good hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and Wolf Rapids is an inspiring spot to explore during your stay. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Wolf River; the month of September is the
wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. Throughout the days of summer here at Wolf River, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Wolf River. A short visit to Shotgun Eddy Rapids is always worthwhile.
