The scenic beauty of Teton County and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Getting     a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Briefly about the general area: Going for a hike on the Poacher Trail is always a great adventure, and you can go for a hike on the North Bitch Creek Trail. Bitch Creek is a location that is pretty arid regularly; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July on the other hand   is the driest. Through the warm days of summer at Bitch Creek highs are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Bitch Creek dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
