The wonderful Albany / Platte County scenery and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Wyoming tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camp stove.     A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. This is the only paddling stretch along Bluegrass Creek. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The wild scenery of the Laramie Mountains is great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers.
