Wyoming whitewater - Bull Lake Creek, Wind River Range, Fremont County
Fremont
county,
North Fork to Bull Lake section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
The scenic beauty of Fremont County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is the only paddling section along Bull Lake Creek. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. If you hurry you can run this
stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. When you're paddling down a Wind River Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher
than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers.
