The Lower section of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is 3 miles long and has been rated as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. The average Wyoming whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so better not forget that many runs in this state are not easy. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is a bit of a short stretch so no need to bring snacks. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or
kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The Lower section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your
car. The beauty of the Absaroka Range is a great plus for this river. The nature scenery of Park County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great.
