The put-in is not too far from Sheridan, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The beautiful scenery of Wyoming and the water flowing gracefully down Clear Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. There's camping available near Clear Creek. This     is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Moiser Picnic to Hydro Station section is one of them. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers.
