This section of Greys River is 6 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Wyoming is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. This is the only paddling stretch     along Greys River. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: Greys River is pretty dried out frequently; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Squaw Fork Canyon is near Greys River and is unquestionably a great spot to check out. Summertime highs at Greys River usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
