The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. If you're coming from Jackson it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. There aren’t any hotels right     nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. The Little Greys River to Highway bridge section is the only paddling section along Greys River. Briefly about the general area: A trip to Squaw Fork Canyon is always fun. At Greys River you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the summer months highs here at   Greys River reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Greys River.
