  The Bondurant to Snake River stretch of Hoback River in Sublette Teton County is 20 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Wyoming and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Wyoming you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. If you're coming from Jackson it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you
    can see on the road map further down. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. Whitewater paddling here in the Wind River Range is a great experience. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t
have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots. The Bondurant to Snake River section is the only paddling section along Hoback River.

40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Hoback River.
Around Hoback River you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May while February is ordinarily the driest month.
