The average Wyoming whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The Wheatland No. 3 Reservoir to Tunnel Road section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The scenic beauty of Wyoming and the cool fresh water attract people     from near and far. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your camping stuff too. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Laramie River are in the 10's.
