The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Wyoming are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The wonderful Wyoming scenery and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. The State line to French Creek stretch is the only paddling stretch along North Platte River. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking     this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your sleeping bag. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near.
