There's camping available near Pole Creek. This is the only paddling section along Pole Creek. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is     an area with not too many other spots for that. The nature scenery of Sublette County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Briefly about the general area: All through the summertime at Pole Creek highs are usually in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while Pole Creek night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. Go for a hike on the Half Moon Trail, and don't leave Pole Creek without first going for a hike along the Fayette Cutoff Trail.
