The distance from west table to sheep gulch is not 30 miles and can be run multiple times in a day. Also, this stretch can be much harder than class three at high river flows. Says KC

The starting location is a reasonable drive from Jackson, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful scenery of Wyoming and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots. Getting your paddling
    muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring
your camping gear along. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. The West Table Dock to Sheep Gulch section of Snake River in Teton Lincoln County is 30 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater.

Open Canyon is a great place to have a look at near Snake River. All through the summer at Snake River temperatures are commonly in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically
 
in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Snake River temperatures dip to the 0's. Snake River is a location that is reasonably dry typically; the month with most of the rain is May; August is the month with the least moisture.
