You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. This is the only paddling stretch along Tongue
River. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The natural beauty of Wyoming and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for
more. This is a pretty short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners.
