The natural beauty of Wyoming and the water flowing gracefully down Wind River - East Fork are reasons enough to come here and paddle. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't
    forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. This river system has a
few good paddling stretches and the Wilderness boundary to Wiggins Fork section is one of them. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people.

Briefly about the general area:
Go for a hike on the Tepee Creek Trail, and don't leave Wind River - East Fork without first going
for a hike along the Boundary Trail. At Wind River - East Fork all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 30's while Wind River - East Fork nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Not much rain falls here at Wind River - East Fork. June is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
