The starting location is a reasonable drive from Albertville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater     rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The natural beauty of DeKalb County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll   find a large number of good rivers.
