Where is your contact info so I can arrange a trip? Thanks. Steve Says Steve Black Jr

The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. If you're coming from Cullman it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book
a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There's camping available near Blackwater Creek. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whether you're
whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. The State Route 95 to Walston Bridge stretch of Blackwater Creek in Walker County is 8.9 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. There are a few other stretches in this river system that
can be paddled as well.
