  Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This stretch of Honeycomb Creek is 2.8 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The wonderful
    Marshall County scenery and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The starting point is not too far from Albertville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Getting
your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here.

A good place to have a look at near Honeycomb Creek is Slater Hollow, and Honeycomb Creek is not far at all from Grant. A spree to Troup Point next to Honeycomb Creek is always a fine idea, and a visit to Lake Guntersville State Park rejuvenates the spirit. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Don't leave Honeycomb Creek without first paying a visit to McDonald Spring. Cathedral Caverns State Park is a tremendous location; Piney Branch Falls is an inspiring location to pop by during your stay. A large amount of rain falls at Honeycomb Creek.
