This section of Talladega Creek in Alabama is 7.25 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. that. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you
| coming back for more. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Talladega-Sylacauga, as you can see on the road map further down. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Skyway Mtwy to Waldo Bridge State Route 77 section is one of them. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip.

area: There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Talladega Creek called the Odum Trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from Talladega here. Nearby Chandler Gap is a pleasant location to go if you're at Talladega Creek.

in the 90's while night lows are generally in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Talladega Creek.
