A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping gear. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Chistochina Glacier to Copper River section is one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then   no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
