Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Gulkana River mostly tend to be in the 60's with overnight
lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 0's; winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Gulkana River. Gulkana River is mostly a pretty dry place. The month with most of the rain is July, and March is the month with the least moisture.
