Yavapai county, Beaver Ranger Station to Beaver Creek section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

If you're coming from Prescott it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The scenic beauty of Arizona and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There arenít any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because
it is a very popular destination. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. The
rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arizona are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Beaver Ranger Station to Beaver Creek section is one of them.
