The average Arkansas whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and     if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The scenic beauty of White County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. If you're coming from Searcy it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few   others too.
