The wonderful Marion County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Buffalo River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The average Arkansas whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too.

general area:
Panther Hollow is a good place to discover; you're sure to come across some good folks from Harriet here. This site, the Boston Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Bull Shoals State Park
is a good place to visit. Throughout the summertime highs here at Buffalo River reach the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
