The Petit Jean St. Park stretch of Cedar Creek is 3.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-IV(V+) section of whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can     pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The scenic beauty of Conway County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Petit Jean St. Park stretch is one of them. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often more   forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Briefly about the general area: The good folks of Adona like to hang out close by, and Cedar Creek is next to Petit Jean State Park which is a delightful site. Don't leave Cedar Creek without first paying a visit to Cedar Falls. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cedar Creek a wet place. The wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. At Cedar Creek through the months of summer highs are in the 90's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
