This stretch of De Roche Creek in Hot Spring/Clark County is 5.5 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Arkansas are easier than the national norm, so don't forget that many of the     rivers in this state are not very demanding. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The scenic beauty of Arkansas and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people   coming here.
