This stretch of Fall Creek is 12 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. The put-in location is a short drive from Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers, as you can see on the road map further down. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often more forgiving than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections in this state are safe for beginners. | trip, so pack your sleeping bag. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. visitors from Chester. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Boston Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fall Creek; Butterfield Hiking Trail is a magnificent local trail. Prairie Grove Battlefield
State Park is a splendid spot to go if you're at Fall Creek. Fall Creek sees pretty high levels of rain. Through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.
