The Highway 16 to Arkansas 59 stretch of Illinois River is 5.1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that rivers in this state are less demanding. |

Briefly about the general
area: Going to Natural Falls State Park close to Illinois River is a nice thing to do, and don't leave Illinois River without first going for a hike along the Weddington Hiking Trail. These mountains rock, just explore
all the exciting things to do in the Ozarks. Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park is a glorious place to stop at on a wonderful day; the wonderful people of Siloam Springs like to hang out close by.
