The wonderful Montgomery/ Pike County scenery and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Albert Pike Campgound to Highway 84 Bridge section is one of many paddling   sections in this river system. The river winds through the Ouachita Mountains and you get great scenery. Briefly about the general area: You beyond doubt ought to go to Daisy State Park while you're here at Little Missouri River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Gap Mountain Trail. Having a perfect time in the Ouachita Mountains is trouble-free. This is a popular location for folks from Langley. The high level of rain makes Little Missouri River a relatively wet spot.
