The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Mt Levi to Hagarville section is just one of many. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way     there are lots of good places for that around here. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. The Mt Levi to Hagarville stretch of Little Piney Creek is 12 miles long and is a class II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. If you have the time you can make this a two day   trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: Places like Ozark National Forest are great to check out, and Sally Ann Hollow is another magnificent location to explore close by. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a magnificent time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Piney Creek; Peggy Steep Trail is a good local trail. Little Piney Creek is not far at all from Hagarville, and there's nice hiking along the Grassy Point Trail.
