This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
Briefly about the general area: If you feel
like a little side tour, try Miller Hollow, and people from Fox love to come here. Be careful coming to the Boston Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Throughout the long summer days at Little Red River
- Middle Fork highs are frequently in the 90's while night lows are typically in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's while Little Red River - Middle Fork overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's.
