The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Hike in from CR 28 to East Fork Little Buffalo section
| is one of them. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. Whitewater paddling here in the Boston Mountains is a great experience. about the general area: Ozark National Forest is a wonderful place, and you might also want to pay a visit to Thomas Hollow while you're here at Long Branch. That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but
it goes on, the Boston Mountains has it all. If you're stopping by Long Branch from Parthenon, you won't be the only one, and if you're interested in cool geologic characteristics try Rainbow Bluff.
