The starting point is not too far from Harrison, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful Newton County scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors     are great attractions for lots of people. The Hike in from CR 32 to Richland Creek Campground stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. When you're paddling down a Boston Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
