The put-in location is a short drive from Mountain Home, as you can see on the road map further down. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than     those in other states, so don't forget that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. The natural beauty of Stone County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night,   but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
