This stretch of Mulberry River is 16 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some     kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The nature scenery of Arkansas and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
