Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The beauty of the Boston Mountains is a great plus for this river. The natural beauty of Arkansas and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so don't forget that many of the sections in this state are safe for beginners. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There aren’t any hotels right   nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
