If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This stretch of Brandy Creek is 2 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. | short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beautiful scenery of Shasta County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. Briefly about the general area: If time allows, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting. Have
a wonderful hiking adventure along the Dry Creek Trail, and lots of people from French Gulch come here. This river is so wonderful. A wonderful place near Brandy Creek is Rich Gulch. Brandy Creek gets a typical amount of
annual precipitation. The month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Brandy Creek, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's.
