The Highway 20 to Bear Creek Confluence section of Cache Creek is 18 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II(III) section of whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in California is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners.
