Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go home again. Here at Eel River - South Fork you'll perhaps meet some people from Branscomb, and Wages Creek Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This river is a wonderful place to visit. A great site like Standish-Hickey State Recreational Area close to Eel River - South Fork is too splendid to leave out, and Horseshoe Bend is a good location to stop by while in the region.
