Any info on the section between Nelson Point and Stagg Point.  Is this section  rated V+? Says Steve

The starting point is not too far from Truckee-Grass Valley, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The average California whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy.
The wonderful California scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. The Nelson Point to Milsap Bridge section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. Now this is a pretty long section, so it looks like
you will be camping out. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Nelson Point to Milsap Bridge
stretch of Feather River - Middle Fork is 32.5 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. When you're paddling down a Northern Sierra Nevada river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.

Briefly about the general area:
Butte Bar is a delightful spot to spend some time at, and a short visit to Deadman Spring is always worthwhile. This location, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Plumas National Forest is a good site to stop at, and Stag Point is very near and is a great place to have a look at.
